INITIAL RESIDENCY CLASSIFICATION NON-DEGREE
If you wish to take courses for enrichment or as pre-requisites for a particular degree, you will complete the Non-Degree Seeking application at https://nondegree.fau.edu. After submitting your application, a hold will be placed on your record for residency verification. You must then submit your residency information through FAU's secure residency portal. The hold will not be lifted until your documents have been verified.
Please Note: Failure to finalize the initial classification process with Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Admissions or Non-Degree prior to the last day of classes in your initial semester will result in you being responsible for out-of-state fees. You will also be required to undergo the reclassification process to receive Florida residency for tuition purposes in future semesters.
