Biography: Dr. Prier received his undergraduate degree from The University of Florida in Political Science and his graduate degree from Florida State University. As an empirical theorist with a substantial background in survey research and political methodology, his published scholarly work has focused on representation issues in Florida legislature. As a regular presenter at national and international conferences, Professor Prier’s current research agenda focuses on the social and institutional barriers to enhancing accountability and public procurement.
