Biography: Dr. Lenz received his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Minnesota. He joined the Florida Atlantic University Department of Political Science in 1985. He teaches and researches in the public law and American government sub-fields of Political Science. His public law courses include constitutional law, the judicial process, and law and American society. His research includes articles on civil liberties, criminal and civil justice, dispute resolution, and the right to privacy, as well as a book on popular legal culture. Dr. Lenz is also a Special Assistant to the Dean of the College of Arts and Letters for Teaching Initiatives.
