Annual Professional Learning Opportunity: Heroes of the Holocaust

This workshop will introduce teachers to two great diplomats: Chiune Sugihara from Japan and Dr. Feng Shan Ho from China who provided safe passage to thousands of Jewish refugees during the Holocaust and saved their lives.

Movie Nights

These professional learning opportunities will introduce teachers to integrate visual arts in K-12 curriculum; and facilitate discussions on the Holocaust and other genocides, and their repercussions on humanity.

This multimedia program provides secondary educators with professional development, using print and online resources to teach about the Holocaust in today’s classrooms.

How Was It Humanly Possible?

Sponsored by Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach, this exhibit helps to examine human behavior by presenting case studies of people who participated in the mass murder of millions of Jews.

Hélène Berr: A Stolen Life

This traveling exhibition is based on the Journal written by Hélène Berr, a young Jewish French woman, whose promising future was brutally cut short by Vichy Government’s laws and the extermination plan imagined by the Nazis.

Join us as we celebrate K-12 teachers’ contributions in the field of Holocaust, genocide, and human rights education.

Educators Study Trip to USHMM

Educators will receive intensive training on Holocaust education, while exploring one of the most respected museums and Holocaust education centers in the world. The trip is open to all teachers from grades 4-12 from Palm Beach, Broward, Port St. Lucie, Glades, Indian River, Okeechobee, and Martin counties

Next Generations Retreat Series
