Parking and Transportation Services would like to advise you of two construction projects scheduled to take place on the Boca Raton campus that will have an impact on parking on a daily basis. Both projects are scheduled to start on Monday, June 27, 2011 and require the closing of different parking areas on campus for the duration of the projects.
Parking Garage One, adjacent to the Library, will be closed for renovation and repainting. During this time, construction crews will be working to recaulk and reseal the garage. This preventive maintenance is required to extended the functional lifetime of the garage. We expect the work to be completed prior to the start of the Fall semester. Please contact the project manager, Paulo Brida, at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions you may have regarding this project.
Portions of Parking Lot 4, located north of the College of Medicine and Engineering East, will be closed to allow for reconfiguration of the parking lot to align with the new Florida Atlantic Blvd opening this fall. During the construction, access to and from the lot will be restricted to the southern entrance from Lot 2. The project is expected to be completed prior to the start of the Fall semester. Please contact the project manager, Joel Schultz, at email@example.com with any questions you may have regarding this project.
