Thinking Creatively Workshop a Great Success!
Last Friday, Dr. Dani Raviv and OURI hosted a workshop designed to help students think creatively and engage in curiosity. The workshop was a great success and Dr. Raviv is greatly appreciated for the time spent in order to host the event for students.
The Office of Undergraduate Research and Inquiry welcomes anyone who would like to volunteer in the office or for the various events hosted by the office such as the Undergraduate Research Symposium in the spring. Florida Science Olympiad: Volunteers Needed!
On February 15th FAU is hosting the Florida Science Olympiad for Middle School and High School scientists! Dr. Jennifer Peluso needs some help with a fun, technical writing event: Write it, Do it. Please contact Dr. Peluso directly if you would like to help with her with this event. If you are interested in volunteering at other events you can register here. This is a great opportunity to see young researchers at work!
The Boca Museum of Art are looking for bright and energetic students to assist various departments in serving the public. Duties include managing the daily admissions revenue through a computer ticketing system, greeting group tours, distributing appropriate materials and connecting with Docents. Students will also work closely with the Administration and Special Events department to mail out invites and prepare for special functions. Students will gain experience in customer service, administration, and grant funding. They are required to commit to a four hour time block weekly.
