Freshman Orientation Checklist
For new first year students, orientation is a two-day program with a mandatory overnight stay. Participation in the orientation program is a requirement for all incoming students.
Each session has limited space available, and is filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Orientation session dates closed once they reach full capacity. Reservations close for within two (2) business days of a session. Please do not make any travel arrangements until you have completed your reservation and have received a confirmation email to your FAU email account.
Please plan two full days for your orientation session. Check-in will begin at 7:00am on the first day, and end around 5:00pm on the second day. Students must be in attendance for the full two-day session in order to meet the orientation requirement.
Reservations will become available beginning mid-February 2015. Log in to your MyFAU account in February to sign up.
