CMS Upgrade Features

We are planning to upgrade to the next version of the Luminis Content Management System (LCMS) on June 5th through 7th. This version contains major improvements to navigation, publishing and browser compatibility. Listed below are the features you will see in LCMS version 3.3.1.

Naming Changes

Sites are now called Workgroups
Subsites are now called Subgroups

Templates Section

Template Section will list the templates used in the workgroup
*Any changes to the template will still go through Creative Services

Edit Changes

Editor opens up in In-Context Editing mode (full screen)
Bookmarks function improved
Updated page comes up after changes are made
Submit link shows up in In-Context Editing mode and Streamline view

Publishing

Built-in CMS navigation can be published in 20 minutes
Multiple item publishing
Full website publishing

Internal Navigation

Graphical site navigation management
Added ability to modify existing links and create labels (text unlinked)
Links can be reordered using a simple drag-and-drop function

Layouts

Page layouts can be modified (ie. change from a layout with a menu to a layout without one)
