Broward Technology Services (BTS), a part of Florida Atlantic University’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) Division, provides a local source of technology services and accountability for the University's Broward-based clients, while remaining fully compliant and compatible with its technology policies and standards.
OIT-BTS is headed by Dr. Alberto Fernandez, Director of OIT-BTS, who reports to the University's Associate Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Mr. Jason Ball.

In alignment with the general mission of the Office of Information Technology division, the mission of Broward Technology Services is to provide the strategic leadership, planning, and daily technical operations support to fulfill the needs of the Broward campuses (Davie, Fort Lauderdale, and Dania Beach) of Florida Atlantic University.
More concretely, Broward Technology Services works collaboratively with our Broward campuses community to facilitate the academic mission of the University. Our primary goal is to help our campuses to implement new technologies while maximizing budget resources. Broward Technology Services plays a pivotal role in helping Florida Atlantic University to advance its institutional goals by providing the highest level of customer satisfaction.
