'River of Grass' Exhibition Pays Homage to Marjory Stoneman Douglas

The free exhibition runs from Thursday, August 16, through Friday, September 28, at FAU's Wimberly Library, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton. For more information, contact John Cutrone at 561-297-0455 or visit www.jaffecollection.org.

This exhibition celebrates the artists' book portfolio that Dorothy Simpson Krause produced as the Helen M. Salzberg Artist in Residence at the Arthur and Mata Jaffe Center. "River of Grass" pays homage to environmentalist Marjory Stoneman Douglas and her book, "The Everglades: River of Grass," which redefined the popular conception that the Everglades is a treasured river. Proceeds from the sale of the $875 limited edition portfolio benefit the Helen M. Salzberg Artist in Residence Program.
