FAU Calendar of Events for the Week of August 1, 2011
JUPITER, FL (August 1, 2011) – Florida Atlantic University will host the following event:
FAU Jupiter’s “Art in the Atrium” Presents “Garden Portraits,” an Exhibit by John Rachel
The free exhibition runs Thursday, August 11 through Friday, September 30, at the Student Resource (SR) building, at FAU’s MacArthur Campus, 5353 Parkside Drive, Jupiter. For more information, call 561-799-8105.
By special arrangement, “Garden Portraits,” featuring resident artist John Rachell, will be on FAU’s John D. MacArthur campus, located at 5353 Parkside Drive in Jupiter, as part of the Art in the Atrium series. This free exhibition will be on display beginning August 11 and runs through September 30 in the Student Resources (SR) building. A “Meet the Artist” reception will be held Wednesday, August 31, from 5:30 - 7 p.m. The SR Atrium is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
