FAU Jupiter’s Lifelong Learning Society Holds Volunteer Appreciation Reception
JUPITER, FL ( May 1, 2012) - The Lifelong Learning Society at Florida Atlantic University’s John D. MacArthur Campus in Jupiter held its annual volunteer appreciation reception recently to recognize and pay tribute to more than 100 volunteers.
Each year, the Lifelong Learning Society honors the commitment of their many volunteers, whose efforts encourage participation in non-traditional educational classes. Volunteers of the Year were awarded to Ginny Higgins and Barbara Moyer. Volunteer Couples of the Year awards were presented to Arnie and Flo Lurie, as well as Sandy and Lois Edelstein. This recognition acknowledges the extraordinary dedication and untiring service of FAU Jupiter’s Lifelong Learning Society volunteers.
