The Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College hosted its 6th annual Advisory Board Dinner recently at the Abacoa Golf Club. More than 65 guests, including board members and friends of the Honors College attended. President Frank T. Brogan welcomed the college's new dean, Dr. Jeffrey Buller, and applauded the Honors College for its accomplishments in meeting the needs of high ability students.
Honored guests included Courtney Brogan; Betty Zinman, vice chair of the FAU Foundation board; Dr. Lawrence Davenport, FAU executive vice president for University Advancement and executive director of the FAU Foundation; and Dr. John Pritchett, University provost and chief academic officer.

The Florida Atlantic University National Alumni Association (FAUNAA) recently held a networking event for alumni and friends of the University at the Abacoa Golf Club. Anthony Barbar, president of the FAUNAA board of directors, welcomed more than 50 alumni from northern Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast. President Frank T. Brogan '81 reported on plans to build an alumni center on the Boca Raton campus. FAUNAA represents and promotes alumni and University interests by facilitating on-going relationships between FAU and its alumni and by fostering loyalty and support for FAU.
