Edgar “Klip” Klueppelberg, Jr. ’68 (right) of Port St. Lucie, has been named to the Florida Atlantic University National Alumni Association (FAUNAA) Board. Klueppelberg, who is also a current member of the Treasure Coast Campus Advisory Board, graduated from FAU in 1968 with a bachelor of business management degree. He is divisional vice president of AXA Advisors LLC of South Florida.
Florida State Representative Gayle Harrell (above) recently visited the “Nursing Situations in the Community” course on the Treasure Coast campus to discuss the health care system and related economic, legal and policy issues. “It is important for the student to develop an understanding of the needs of vulnerable populations, as well as ethical, political and environmental issues,” said course instructor Lynn Waser. “Guest speakers such as Representative Harrell can help students explore important issues and develop an understanding of professional nursing responsibility in community health.”
