Zamenick
DESCRIPTION: This is not
your parents’ biology class. Attendees of this lecture series will
learn why frogs are growing extra limbs. How is climate change affecting
us? Are allergies and poison ivy worse than normal? Are we overly satiated
with food and becoming more medicated as a result? Are we irradiated and
alienated by technology? Do you have the thrillseeking gene? Are you suffering
from nomophobia? Have you met your microbiome? Tired of being manipulated
by media and want to clean up your toxic act? Find the solutions to your
pollutions. This series is about you and will examine new discoveries in
biology, and will include discussions. Each lecture is interactive involving
demonstrations, handouts and class participation.
FOUR LECTURES:
- Genetics: It is all about you
- Nutrition: Satiation/medication nation
- Longevity: Respiration, recreation, rehabilitation
- Enviroment: Radiation nation
