In Concert: The Best of Sammy Weber - Part 2
Sammy Weber

EVENT DESCRIPTION: Back by popular demand, Sammy will perform on violin and trumpet taking some selections from previous classes, and adding to them. Each selection will be discussed, immersing the audience into the creative aspect of composition, arrangement and performance of music. Highlights will include the re-making of the musical scores of West Side Story and Schindler's List.

BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: Sammy Weber attended ​the Juilliard School in New York City, where, before becoming concertmaster of the string orchestra in the preparatory division, he met and played with Itzhak Perlman. He has excelled as a soloist and has played in numerous venues in New York and Florida. His passion is to play all types of music​, and to share his love of and joy in music with others.  All his students cannot help but “catch” this infectious love and joy. Sammy Weber has previously taught several well-received programs at the Lifelong Learning Society at FAU.
