Heritage Park Towers (HPT)
Heritage Park Towers (HPT) a suite-style residence hall consisting of both double and single rooms for freshmen students. HPT is located next to such conveniences as Starbucks and FAU s branch of Bank Atlantic. Each bedroom is equipped with unlimited access Ethernet connections and basic cable television service. HPT also offers a 24-hour desk operation, music practice room, community kitchen, classroom, computer lab, multipurpose room with large-screen TV, laundry facilities, study lounges and conference room. Features for each room include an extra-long bed (36" X 80" extra-long twin mattress), desk, chair and dresser. Residents may bring a small refrigerator and/or microwave. Refrigerators should be 3.6 cubic feet or smaller and have a maximum of 400 watts at 120 volts. Microwave ovens should be 1.4 cubic feet capacity or smaller and have a maximum of 1100 watts at 120 volts. Click here for information on ordering from our residence hall linens program. The North Tower of HPT is the home to the Living-Learning Communities (LLC) at FAU. This unique program combines classroom learning with opportunities to put education into practice, as it brings what happens in the classroom to your real-world experiences and vice versa. You will live on the same floor with students who have similar interests or majors, and you ll take courses with others in the community.
Living Learning Communities at HPT: The Living-Learning Community (LLC) program at FAU offers incoming freshmen the unique and engaging opportunity to live on the same floor (in Heritage Park Towers-North) with other incoming freshmen with similar academic goals and interests. LLC's Featue:
