Glades Park Towers (GPT)
Glades Park Towers is a suite-style residence hall consisting of both double and single rooms. The Towers caters to every student's needs, including its own Outtakes convenience store, which is centrally located in the lobby - a perfect place to grab a quick bite while on the go. Every room in Glades Park Towers is fully furnished. All bedrooms feature unlimited access to Ethernet connections and basic cable television service. Additionally, Glades Park Towers offers a 24-hour desk operation, floor study lounges, multipurpose room with large-screen TV, laundry facilities, conference room, computer lab, classroom and the convenience store. Features for each room include an extra-long bed (36" X 80" extra-long twin mattress), desk, chair and dresser. Residents may bring a small refrigerator and/or microwave. Refrigerators should be 3.6 cubic feet or smaller and should have a maximum of 400 watts at 120 volts. Microwave ovens should be 1.4 cubic feet capacity or smaller and should have a maximum of 1,100 watts at 120 volts.

All students living in Glades Park Towers participate in the First-Year Student Housing (FYSH) Program and take a college success course, SLS 1503, in the Fall semester; for convenience many sections of this class are offered within the building.
The FYSH Program At Glades Park Towers: The First Year Student Housing (FYSH) Program at Glades Park Towers provides you the opportunity to succeed as you make the transition to college life. As a resident in the FYSH program, you are strongly encouraged to participate in the FYSHing Tournament. You will earn points for attending campus and community events, maintaining a strong GPA and participating in intramural sports. Points are tracked by Residence Life staff and FYSHing Tournament winners are announced on a monthly, semester and yearly basis.
