Prior to coming to FAU in 1991, Ms. Linn has served as an educator and guidance counselor in the Etowah County public school system, and adjunct professor with Jacksonville State University, Gadsden, Alabama from (1970-1981). She has served as an assistant project officer for 1-800-4-CANCER at the National Cancer Institute, Bethesda, MD., and technical publications writer/editor for the Navy Tactical Support Activity, Washington Navy Yard, Washington, D.C. (1984-1990)

In her twenty-two years at FAU, Ms. Linn has served as Coordinator for the Weekend BBA Program, College of Business, Coordinator for Credit/Noncredit Programs/60+ program, Continuing Education, and Budget Coordinator, Biological Sciences, College of Science.  She joined the Department of History in 2000.
