Career
Prior to joining the FAU-Harbor Branch Marine Mammal Research and Conservation Program in 2008, Adam specialized in infectious diseases at Barnes Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine. His research focus is to explore the relationship between dolphin health, the environment, and the human health implications of anthropogenic stressors. Current projects include antibiotic resistant bacteria, microbiology and epidemiology of lobomycosis and the effects of mercury on Atlantic bottlenose dolphins.
