The Camp Owl Experience is only open to first year students (freshmen and transfer students) starting in the summer or fall of the 2013 semester. As such, the Camp Owls Experience is truly a once in a lifetime experience. While there are many trips to choose from, the real experience comes from who you meet and what you learn, not where you go. Because space is limited, you will want to apply early. Placement on a specific trip is not guaranteed.

Early Housing Check-in

If you are participating in the Camp Owl Experience and you have received your housing assignment for the fall 2013 semester, you will have the special advantage of moving into University Housing on Sunday, August 18, 2013.  You will receive more information regarding early housing check-in after you register for your trip. Participation in the Camp Owls Experience is not a guarantee of housing for the fall semester. Students hoping to live in the residence halls in the fall semester, but lacking a residence hall room on Sunday the 18 will have to make other arrangements for the night. Residence hall space is limited at FAU. If you want to live on campus in the fall you are encouraged to apply for housing as soon as possible!
