The Purpose of Lambda Theta Alpha

 The purpose of Lambda Theta Alpha shall be to provide a sisterhood based on Unity, Love, & Respect. To develop strong Leaders who will then provide and practice political, social and cultural activities. To promote Latino Unity through charitable and educational programs. To maintain a high standard of learning and serve as a voice for all Latino students.

We emphasize that we are "Latina by Tradition not by Definition" because we have a diverse sisterhood  from different backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultures nationwide. We believe in the Universal Woman and support eachother within the sisterhood to overcome our obstacles and achieve our goals and dreams in life.

Philanthropy:

• Fall 2011: Lambda Theta Alpha did not raise philanthropy dollars.
• Spring 2012: Lambda Theta Alpha raised $820.00 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Service:

• Fall 2011: Lambda Theta Alpha record 20 service hours.
• Spring 2012: Lambda Theta Alpha recorded 15 service hours.

Scholarship:

• Cumulative GPA:    2.37

• Fall 2011 GPA:    2.67

• Spring 2012 GPA:    2.43
