MyStudentDownload is a new feature on the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) website that will allow students to download their loan, grant, enrollment, and overpayment information. This information will be downloaded in a readable, plain text file for viewing, printing and saving. Other online tools, mobile apps and resources will be coming soon for students to upload their data and receive customized information relating to their educational goals. Implementation of New Web Site for Total and Permanent Disability Discharge
A web site has been implemented for the Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) Discharge process. Borrowers seeking a disability discharge of their FFEL Program loans, Direct Loan Program loans, Federal Perkins Loan Program loans, and Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant service obligations will find complete information at the new TPD Discharge Web site.
A new online tool, Financial Awareness Counseling, provides information and tools to help a student understand the financial aid process and assist them with managing their finances. This tool is available on the Federal Student Aid website.
