Important Financial Aid Dates & Deadlines

NOTICE REGARDING DISBURSEMENT OF FINANCIAL AID: DISBURSEMENT OF AID TAKES A FEW WEEKS. Students need to set aside funds for personal needs during the first few weeks of the semester. Unless you have authorized direct deposit of your aid, you will be required to pick up your refund check from the Controller's Office on the Boca Raton campus, regardless of which campus you attend. Students may receive a Line of Credit up to $400 for purchasing textbooks online or in the Barnes & Noble store. B&N Bookstore authorizations will be emailed to students confirming eligibility and the timeframe when placing an order.

Log on to to apply online. Students now have the option of utilizing the IRS Data Retrieval option on the FAFSA. If you choose to have your tax data transferred to FAFSA via IRS data retrieval, you are NOT required to submit tax forms. However, you may be contacted at a later date to submit tax forms to clarify financial data on your FAFSA. Although the IRS Data Retrieval is not mandatory, it is highly recommended for your to use this option for speedier and a more accurate processing of your financial aid.

Students must submit the Mandatory Course Entry Survey during drop/add (for general courses). Students will receive an email each semester via Blackboard to confirm their attendance in each course they are enrolled during the first of classes. Additional emails may be sent from the Office of Student Financial Aid reminding students to complete survey by the drop/add deadline.
NOTE: For students in fast track courses or other special courses that do NOT begin on the semesters start date, you will receive an email to complete course entry survey when your course actually begins.

If a Short Term Advance is needed after the online application closes (FALL & SPRING semesters ONLY) and the student has not received a short term advance during the term, then download the Short Term Advance application from the Forms website and submit to the Financial Aid Office.
