NOTICE REGARDING DISBURSEMENT OF FINANCIAL AID: DISBURSEMENT OF AID TAKES A FEW WEEKS. Students need to set aside funds for personal needs during the first few weeks of the semester. Unless you have authorized direct deposit of your aid, you will be required to pick up your refund check from the Controller's Office on the Boca Raton campus, regardless of which campus you attend. | April 26, 2013 |
First day to apply for SUMMER 2013 Short Term Advance for purchasing textbooks and other unanticipated expenses. Available exclusively online in MyFAU . Must be degree seeking and registered half-time or more at FAU for consideration. Click here for detailed instructions on how to apply. |
| May 9, 2013 | Disbursement of Short Term Advance Begins (if all criteria is met) |
| May 13, 2013 | SUMMER 2013 Term begins (Terms 1 & 2). |
| May 17, 2013 | Last day to drop/add courses without consequences for SUMMER 2013 Term by 5 p.m. (Students enrolled in a combination of Terms 1, 2 & 3) ; courses are fee liable after this date. Financial Deferment Deadline (In order to receive Deferment of Tuition Payment, students must have "Accepted" financial aid awards online by 5pm this date.) In addition, all documents must be in a "Satisfied" status in order to receive a deferment. After this date a $100 late payment fee and/or $100 late registration fee will be assessed. |
| May 20, 2013 | Last day to pay fees for SUMMER 2013 Terms - Terms 1 & 2 (Late fees applied after 5pm). Financial Aid Disbursements by Fund begin AFTER this date (Sessions 1 & 2) . |
| June 10, 2013 | Barnes & Noble Book Voucher Program is available beginning SUMMER 2013 Term 3. Students may receive a Line of Credit up to $400 for purchasing textbooks online through Barnes & Noble. B&N Bookstore authorizations will be emailed to students confirming eligibility and the timeframe when placing an order. |

SUMMER 2013 Term begins (Term 3). Mandatory Attendance Policy is effective. Students will receive an email each semester via Blackboard to confirm their attendance in each course they are enrolled. |
| June 30, 2013 | Last day to drop/add courses without consequences for SUMMER 2013 Term by 5 p.m. (For Students enrolled ONLY in Term 3) ; courses are fee liable after this date. |
| July 1, 2013 | Last day to pay fees for SUMMER 2013 Term 3 ONLY. (Late fees applied after 5pm). Financial Aid Disbursements by Fund begin AFTER this date for students enrolled in SUMMER Term 3 ONLY (subject to change) . |
| July 19, 2013 | Last Day to Apply for Short Term Advance for SUMMER 2013 Term. |
