University community members request / report work to be performed by doing one of the following:
- On Line Work Order Request Form
- By phone (for emergencies - Water Instrusion, Elevator stuck, etc.)

- Harbor Branch Campus call 6-2246
The requestor must provide a description of the problem or the work to be performed, the location of work to be performed, and the name and phone number of the requestor and / or person to be contacted. In this manner, all work requests can get recorded and assigned to the appropriate service group.
What do we do
Work Control staff members document the request within the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS), using the On-Site Work Request Module.
Work Control staff members assign a work priority to the Work Order. Work Order Priority designation defines the time frame within which the work should be completed and further determines the manner in which the work request is communicated to the service group.
Work Control staff members will assign the work request to the appropriate service group which will perform the requested service / work.
The service group will approve the work request into a work order. The requestor will receive email notifications on all stages of the work, from the request notification detailing scheduled start and finish dates by the service group, to completion notification.
