FAU CAPS TRAINING GOALS

  1. Professionalism: To produce graduates who demonstrate a consolidated professional identity, this includes the integration of professional behavior, ethics, and diversity.

  2. Individual Clinical Work: To produce graduates who demonstrate entry-level skills and competencies in the clinical practice of professional psychology with individuals.

  3. Group Clinical Work: To produce graduates who demonstrate entry-level skills and competencies in the clinical practice of professional psychology with groups.

  4. Supervision: To produce graduates with entry-level skills, knowledge base, and competencies in the role of clinical supervisor.

  5. Outreach/Consultation: To produce graduates with entry-level skills, knowledge-base, and competencies in the provision of community service through outreach and consultation.
