Check and Direct Deposit Refund Process

Check Refunds
  • For those students who do not have direct deposit, a check will be mailed to the local address that Florida Atlantic University has on file. If there is no local address, it will be mailed to the permanent address. It is important that you inform the Registrar’s Office of any address changes. Or you can update your address on line at http://www.fau.edu/finaid/resources/instructions.php. In most cases, the checks will be mailed on the same day that they were issued.

Please note: If the refund date is a Saturday’s date, please substitute the following Monday’s date for the date that is stated on your student account. Therefore, the checks will be issued and mailed on the following Monday.

Direct Deposit Refunds

  • The direct deposit refund will be available in the student’s bank account within two business days from the date of the disbursement.
