APPsolutely Android LC : Building Android Apps
(Open to all majors EXCEPT Architecture and Music)
Open to students in a variety of majors that are interested in using their skills to build Android smartphone apps while taking the courses for their individual majors. Student will work together with others student in their major to design, development and market Android apps.
APPsolutely Android LC students will be registered for the following courses for the fall semester:
**English Composition I: ENC 1101 (3 credits) or ENC 1102 (if have credit for ENC 1101)
**Learning Strategies & Human Development: SLS 1503 (2 credits)
**LC Experience: SLS 1412 (0 credit)
**2 other Intellectual Foundations Course (varying credits each - depending on major)
**Students in math intensive programs (i.e. Business, Science, etc) will be registered for a MATH Course. This will be based on your score on the ALEKS Math Placement Test (www.fau.edu/mathplacement) - Do not take ALEKS prior to April 1st, 2013 or the test will be invalid. ALEKS must be completed by June 1, 2013. Please e-mail your ALEKS scores to email@example.com by June 1, 2013.
Engineering & Computer Science majors:
** Fundamentals of Engineering with discussion: EGN 1002 (3 credits)
**General Chemistry with lab: CHM 2045 (4 credits)
All Nursing and Exercise Science majors will be enrolled in a math course and Anatomy & Physiology.
All Business majors will be enrolled in a math course and Introduction to Business.
All students NOT majoring within the College of Business, College of Science, College of Nursing or the College of Engineering and Computer Science will be enrolled in a choice of an Appreciation course and another course to be determined.
