Jamie Ostroff,
Chief Investigative Reporter, WPTV
Jamie Ostroff joined WPTV in January 2024. She came to South Florida from WCMH, the NBC affiliate in Columbus, Ohio. Jamie was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area. Her roots in the nation's capital form the foundation of her passion for government and policy, public affairs, culture and justice. Jamie's reporting has brought change to the communities she's covered, appeared in documentaries such as HBO's "BS High," and earned numerous professional accolades, including an Emmy Award and multiple nominations. A graduate of the University of Miami, Jamie earned her degree in broadcast journalism in 2009.
