Dr. Stephanie Taylor

A familiar face on FAU's Davie campus, Dr. Stephanie Taylor has been a College of Business academic advisor and liaison with Broward College for the past seven years. Dr. Taylor assists FAU's College of Business with building stronger relationships with Broward College on all three campuses through networking and providing the best possible service for Broward College's students to ensure that their transition to FAU's College of Business is as seamless as possible.

She values the opportunity to successfully assist students in achieving their educational and career goals by providing them with the necessary academic resources available to help them to succeed. With over eleven years in higher education, Dr. Taylor is passionate about education and understands that to effectively work with students "you must be enthusiastic and understand the value of every student."

Last year, she graduated with her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education in May 2019. "My dissertation focused on faculty attitudes, perceptions, and concerns surrounding distance learning," Dr. Taylor said.

Taylor and her husband serve as youth pastors at their church and organize outreach events that impact the surrounding communities of the South Broward County area. Taylor's favorite FAU experience, is getting together with a great group of people at the Davie campus Christmas Party each year and playing the white elephant game. "It is the absolute best," she said.
