Accepted artwork to be received at the Ritter Art Gallery, "ready to hang,"
on Tuesday, March 13 and Wednesday, March 14 between 1 - 4pm.
Juror: Hamza Walker
Since September 2016, Hamza Walker has been executive director of LAXART in Los Angeles, one of the city's most important platforms for emerging and under-recognized contemporary art. Prior to joining LAXART, Walker served as associate curator and director of education at the Renaissance Society at the University of Chicago and co-curated the 2016 edition of the Hammer Museum's "Made in L.A." Walker continues to teach at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as an adjunct professor.

Juried Student Exhibition Description
Juried Student Exhibition is produced and organized by students with the goal of providing an opportunity
to showcase their work in a professional environment as well as develop valuable professional skills as both
working artists and exhibition administrators. This year's exhibition features cash prizes and the opportunity
to show at Art Boca Raton Contemporary Art Fair for top performing students.
