We offer B.A. degree programs in French, Italian, Linguistics and Spanish as well as courses in Arabic, German, Mandarin Chinese, Hebrew, Japanese and Latin, many of which count toward academic minors and certificates.
We provide our students with a broad liberal arts background through coursework in language, culture and literature in an interdisciplinary context.


Serra Congratulations to Dr. Ilaria Serra whose entry “Italian American Femininities” for the new Routledge History of the Italian Americans has just been published.

Ilaria writes: “It is a review of Italian American memoirs by women and it is structured in an original way as a walk among the rooms of their homes.” Check it out:




Congratulations to Dr. Frédéric Conrod, whose article “Vuelos traumáticos, Padres imaginarios y Burguesía Neurótica en Relatos Salvajes (2014) de Damián Szifrón”  will appear in the 2018 issue of Journal Etica y Cine from the University of Buenos Aires.



Congratulations to Dr. Roderick Cooke, whose article “The Collapse of Personal and National Identity in Maupassant's 'Le Horla'" will appear in the 2018 French issue of the prestigious journal Modern Language Notes.

Schedule Tutoring
Available for students in our lower-division language courses. All tutoring takes place at the Center for Learning And Student Success, C.L.A.S.S., which is located on the second floor of the GS Building (across from the bookstore) on the Boca Raton campus.
